The HET offers UKB employees a free course in laboratory animal science twice a year (courses are held in spring and fall). This course teaches the theoretical and practical basics of animal experimentation with mice and rats and provides the expertise required to perform animal experiments.
Course announcement spring 2026
After completion of the theory exam, please register for practical training using the registration form. Please attach the LAS certificate of your theory exam.
The number of participants is limited, and registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received.
If, contrary to expectations, you are unable to attend the course, please cancel your registration as soon as possible to allow those on the waiting list to participate.
